Join the PTO

Membership runs for one school year, from August to the following July, and is open to any family with a child from birth to six years old. You do not need to live in Bay Village. Registration for the coming year opens on 1 July.

How to join

1. Pay this year's dues on Cheddar Up, where the amount is shown: Join for 2026–2027
2. Within a few days the membership committee will set up your account and email you a sign-in link. That link is your access to the members' area: events, the member directory and the forms.

You are welcome to come to a meeting or an event before you decide. Scholarships are available for families with a financial need; ask any board member or the membership committee, and every enquiry is held in strict confidence.

What membership includes

• Playgroups, arranged each autumn by children's ages.
• Field trips and children's parties through the year.
• Adult outings and special-interest groups.
• A personalised letter from Santa, and sometimes a visit.
• Costume and party-equipment rentals — character costumes, a bounce house, a water slide, a party tent.
• The babysitting list, and the hospitality committee when your family needs a hand.
• Exclusive discounts from local businesses.
• Monthly general meetings with speakers and refreshments.

The PTO exists only through its members' volunteer time. Some easy ways in: help at the Santa Shop, the resale or a children's party; cook a meal for a family with a new baby; make busy bags or write Santa letters.
